So I found a way to automatically transfer highlights from articles to #Obsidian ... free. I use #RainDrop , then use the Obsidian community plugin Ranindrop Highlights .
Thank you to the kind soul who created the plugin!

I'm not sure how often I'll be using this feature, but I'm glad I have the option.

Here's the markdown file that the plugin produces:

After much struggle (namely the Pocket app), I've synced #Pocket -> #Readwise -> #ObsidianMD
using Readwise's official community plugin.

For about RM430 per year, Readwise is pricey for this #Malaysian but I'm really tempted to take out my credit card - especially since it rolled out its own Reader.

The plug-in just drops the highlights in a folder named Readwise in your Obsidian vault. The file looks like this:
