Well, the protocols I designed back for #Purism 's #Librem5 don't *quite* do what intended.
That's why I'm back at work.

After finally attempting to rescue my long broken #Librem5 devkit, I ended up with it booting into this Feb 2020 image. It already somewhat resembles the current thing, but gosh, we sure have made a lot of progress since then! 😁

I started a discussion on the #purism #forum about this. Generally I like the way they offer the fediverse to their users (no timelines).

But I see a lot of potential in DMs for users that would like to accept them.

Yeah, and this was clearly a process issue more than anything else. I talked (well, emailed) with a customer service rep and they were perfectly polite and helpful once they replied. They just didn't seem to have a process to hear about issues or reach out about the order. All they'd do is reply to emails.

So, good people; problems with the process.

I still wish #purism the best of luck with the librem5.
