This paints an awful image, especially since the justification for delaying posts about Donald Trump and his associates is "general safety."
Additionally, if you share any current information concerning Donald Trump and his associates, your post may be delayed from appearing in the general feed.
For example, if you saw Robert F. Kennedy Jr. eating a hamburger at McDonald’s and posted a selfie with him in the background, no one would see that you shared it for several hours.
Meta is protecting ICE.
If you post about an ongoing event involving ICE, your post may be delayed from appearing in the general feed.
If you encourage people to assist those under threat from ICE, your account may be suspended or terminated, and your information may be forwarded to law enforcement.

To stop Meta from using the migrant crisis as a marketplace to line their pockets, ORG calls for:
A clear and explicit OPT-IN for targeted advertising.
Full transparency on how ads are targeted in Meta's public ad library.
Proper resourcing for pre-publication ad moderation — to catch fraud and harmful content before it reaches users.
Previous research funded by the Scottish Institute for Policing Research found that Meta’s profiling tools allowed the UK Home Office to build ‘patchwork profiles’ of likely refugees.
This stitches together interests, behaviours and language categories to target them with scare campaigns.
Meta’s profiling and microtargeting means it profits from all aspects of the global migrant crisis.
Its vast surveillance-based infrastructure is also being used by the UK Home Office to target refugees with fear-based advertising to deter people from crossing the Channel in small boats.
Either way, Meta profits from stalker ads 
Meta harvests personal data to track users' behaviour and make assumptions about them, so it can sell targeted adverts.
Surveillance-based advertising conceals a predatory marketplace behind a facade of personalisation.
This is being weaponised to deceive, divide and inflict harm, simply by disguising criminal adverts behind harmless-looking pages.
ORG's report shows that Facebook pages disguised as gaming communities are being used to target migrants with illegal services.

As a direct consequence, the majority of #GlobalSouth users who drift into the #Fediverse get disillusioned, and return/move on to #Facebook or #Twitter or #Threads.
The #GlobalNorth users on the Fediverse never even become aware of this loss; though many of them perceive the monotony of voices/topics, and silently move out; leaving behind a tiny, malnourished social medium.
I feel broken today.
I had to make a new #WhatsApp account. I did not want to make a new account there, even with a different phone number, but I had to.
I was told by my father's spouse that my choice to delete my WhatsApp account was insane. She argued plenty about how it's an important tool in today's life in my country.
But what really broke me is that she compared me to my far more paranoid brother as a result.
My brother doesn't have a smartphone. He uses Linux instead of Windows or Mac. He has done far more than just not having WhatsApp to the point where everyone and me finds him really annoying to deal with.
And yet, the sole decision to delete WhatsApp merited her to put me at the same insanity level as him.
Not only was I personally hurt, but I came to realize how astonishingly deep #Meta's claws have been dug in my country.
I knew I couldn't argue with them. I tried to argue about using RCS instead of WhatsApp before. They didn't budge. Not even with the convenience that makes RCS popular in the U.S.
It even leads me to believe that Google's Trends statistics for searches on how to "delete #facebook", "delete #instagram" and "delete whatsapp" for my region are not but a lie, even when they're at a consistent 60% to 70% of searches from people in that region.
I feel extremely hurt and sad, because it means that common sense has failed against the convenience of Meta as a mainstay.
I'm extremely pained because it weakens my stance against Meta and their new community guidelines, and how they allow discriminating women and the LGBTQ+.
And for that, with all my heart, I want to say:
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry to all of you I know on Mastodon, Bluesky and the fediverse at large.
I'm sorry to all of you women and trans people that I know and I'm friends with.
I failed you all.
