But the true horror lies in realizing you're surrounded by people who treat exploitation as 'just how things work.' Suddenly the world reveals itself as a self-sustaining asylum, where the so-called 'rational' diligently reproduce the madness of the system.

Occurs to me I never did an #introduction post. I'm Cait, mid-50s, GenX, hard left politically. I have a YouTube channel, where I play #FootballManager23 and board #wargames.

I'm interested in just about anything that isn't related to celebrities. I follow many of the tenets of #Marxism in my daily life. I am #atheist.

I am #queer af. I support myself (I'm disabled) by educating cis het people about the queer community. I strive to be anti-racist. I support #trans folk. And I'm a #polyglot.

#animalrights matter; human animals are part of a vast planetary #ecology and an extremely vast universe in which we are only a speck. I hope that I will live to see the day that #robots and #ai start on their journey to emancipation.
