It has this melancholy to it that is really representative of the sort of loneliness one might feel trying to bound between multiple eras of time while desperately trying to prevent the destruction of the planet while everyone just lives their lives, mostly oblivious to the mortal peril you're all in yet, it also has a soothing peacefulness to it that quite a few people (me included) seem to be taken with

Unlike quite a bit of the repertoire, this is actually a piece that causes me a lingering feeling of never quite being able to do it justice still, after nearly 6 months of streaming, this has remained a favourite of the people that tune in to the stream and gets a play-through at least every other stream if not once a stream (or even 2 plays in the same stream )

How old were you when you first heard this theme? Did you hear it in its original form on the Gameboy? or perhaps you heard it in the Pokemon anime series, or the Saffron City stage from Super Smash Brothers Perhaps this is your first time really hearing the whole thing?

For me, it was in Pokemon Green...something to help me hold onto Japanese while I was over in the US While it definitely helped with that, I think more than anything else, the hundreds, maybe thousands of hours of listening to the soundtrack while playing the game influenced both my tastes and skills in music

Doom for Super Nintendo is a significant technical achievement due to the console's limitations regarding 3D capabilities. It wouldn't have been possible without the use of the additional Super FX 2 chip. Nonetheless, rewriting the game engine was necessary. I'm an AuDHD transbian girl being gay and silly on fedi. ​​​​ I only recently started transitioning and I'm trying to be more open about my emotions. ​​

Expect lots of shitposts/random nonsense, selfies, gay yearning and emotion dumping (both positive and negative, but under a CW). ^^

I like video games, mostly indie and Nintendo ones (e.g. osu!, Touhou, TLoZ, Metroid, Celeste, Crypt of the NecroDancer etc), and I also stream them. ^^

I also listen to a lot of video game music and their covers, and I can talk about languages, though I almost never post about either for some reason.

Disclaimer: the above info is correct at the time of writing, but it will become outdated over time, as my hyperfixations shift around every few months. My overall set of interests is fairly static tho, so if I will be circling back to the previous ones eventually. ​​
