Have you checked how greedy Mastodon's Advanced Web Interface is of CPU? Lately my laptop fan has been running a lot, and I seem to have isolated it to Mastodon (in Firefox on a Mac).

Any updates on content moderation for mastodon.social? I got spammed a while back and it sounds like a lot of folks did too. If you do end up bringing on more folks to do moderation though, please pay them a fair wage; it's a hard job!
