Gorgeous day we had with cool Pacific breezes & warm sun. Perfect 👌 Not a cloud in the sky & 22°C (72°F). 🌞 Photo’d as I rested & watched for hummingbirds, from my “dog run”, called Doggie Square on Alexa for night lights. So cozy since I covered it in a deep layer of wood mulch. I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to sit and watch nature. I always feel behind so I almost always work, or sleep. I’m falling in love with not just hummingbirds but all birds. If I were ever to return to this world, I want to return as a bird. Me and my view as I relax (photos)

Killing time before taking <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/FridaTheBasset" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FridaTheBasset</a> for 8am for investigative work under sedation to determine what to do with the growth in her throat. She loves to eat so I’m feeling particularly guilty for her fasting but she has to. Can’t wait for tonight. This is very hard. I think she’s given up on food which is normally at 4am. On pins & needles atm.🌤️ & 26°c (79°F) 4cast

Early start again today to continue to chop up branches and twigs to continue constructing the hügelkultur in the wildlife area. Mostly sunny with 30ºc (86ºF), but it's supposed to get even cooler tomorrow, with rain possible then. Wow! What an interesting Summer. Almost the weekend! Hang in there!
